Troglodytes are common creatures that live in underground chasms and caves in tribes of 5 to 10. Being the size of a dwarf, they are not very dangerous to miners or trained military dwarves, and will flee when confronted. Given the chance, however, they will threaten civilian dwarves, interrupting their work and chasing single dwarves.
